We were incredibly thrilled with the work that Restoration Services did at our home. We had a large unfinished attic with a full set of stairs, and had always dreamed of finishing the space. As our family grew we decided to go ahead and have the attic remodeled into a large, open living space and bathroom. A big concern of ours, was being sure the newly finished space would retain the character of our 1915 Craftsman-style home. Having worked with Dale on previous projects, we knew he would take time with us to design the space we envisioned and would, himself, value building on the character of our house. Restoration Services turned our attic into an incredibly beautiful, character-filled space, which flows perfectly from the main floor. Dale was focused on the creative details of the project throughout. He did a fabulous job duplicating the original 1915 woodwork, laid and onsite finished a beautiful hardwood floor, added window seats to accommodate the central air conditioning ducts, designed and built a beautiful stair railing. Rather than sheet rocking over a chimney that had previously been poorly covered with cement, Dale had the great idea of applying a thin brick that matched the original. We really enjoy the character that the chimney brick adds to the bathroom space. Dale attended to the details of this job as if it were his own house. The men that work with Dale and his subcontractors, were all very skilled and enjoyable to work with. We are extremely happy with the space and will definitely choose to work with Restoration Services in the future!

Restoration Services did a kitchen remodel for me. They helped from the very beginning in the design and layout of the kitchen, since I did not have a large space to work with. Since this is my first home and remodel, they also helped me pick out all my materials including flooring, tile, appliances and cabinets. They removed a wall to enlarge the kitchen and make things more open as well as closed up a bathroom. Then opening the bathroom up via the bedroom making a master suite. The washer and dryer were moved from the kitchen area to under my stairs (no baseme nt). They built this area out so that the washer and dryer did not take up too much room in the under the stairs storage space. They also built a sliding barn door for the new opening to be bathroom (which looks amazing). They coordinated and handled the plumber and electrician as well as the last minute addition of a window vendor. When all the walls were down I decided last minute to update my windows, they changed gears and accommodated my request with no issues. This was a major renovation from a kitchen my friends jokingly called “a kitchen from a cabin in the woods horror movie” to a kitchen that now is now absolutely amazing. People cant believe its the same space. As far as the company in general, they were professional and courteous at all times. Th ere attention to detail and craftsmanship is amazing, there is not a single thing I would change or wish they would have done. I cant say enough good things about my experience. As I bought a lake house fixer upper in the Poconos I will definitely be using them again.

Dale and his team were prompt, thorough, talented, efficient, and friendly. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs brick repointing work done on a house they love. The work was finished sooner than I expected, on budget, and it looks great. I was initially concerned about the difficulty of matching the color of my existing mortar on my ~120 year old home, but I can’t tell what is original and what was repaired.

My fiancé, Iris and I recently had work completed by Ryan. Whether we were in contact with Ryan directly or his wife, Lauren, they were always very friendly and cord ial to communicate with, very informative regarding how we could get this project completed expeditiously, and prompt in getting back to us throughout this whole process. Great! I had an old-time antenna bracket removed from the side of my vintage brick home which left unsightly big holes in several bricks and I also had some crumbling & missing mortar issues. The mortar used when my house was built is not something you can easily buy in your local home center and finding bricks to match an 85-year old home is no easy task. Restoration Services cut out and removed the damaged bricks and replaced with new(old) bricks that matched perfectly as well as fixed the mortar with a mix that looks identical. I am pretty particular about the care of my home. I was really worried about the finished appearance as I did not want to end up with a repair that stuck out like a sore thumb, but they did a great job and I defy anyone to point out the areas that have been repaired!

Restoration Services (Dale and his crew) did a great job restoring the stone work on our 1817 Pennsylvania barn. One side of the barn had collapsed many years ago and, after hunting for matching stone, they were able to rebuild it without a trace of the previous damage . Dale also took the time to find the right mortar mix that would blend in with the existing mortar. The scope of their work also included replacing the fascia board along the gable roof line and while the scaffold was up Dale agreed to have the crew refinish and paint the gable vent window as well. We are very pleased with the quality of their workmanship and they were very easy to work with.
