Applewood Kiln

Bringing a historic lime kiln back to life. During the process the kiln wall collapsed. It was then rebuilt from the ground up, re-pointed, and the face of the kiln was given new life with brick and mortar.

Exterior Stone Repair

Removed old and deteriorated mortar and repointed stone home using German Ridge style pointing.

Barn Restoration

The bank wall of the barn had collapsed in on itself and hinged the corner of the barn, creating a large opening. The stone wall was rebuilt and extensive repointing was done to restore and repair this beautiful barn.To finish it off, we installed wood fascia and cedar siding.

Creating Flagstone Patio Build & Fence Repair

The first project was to create acurvedflagstone patio and steps to make a seamless transition from the door to steps, in order to make an inviting entrance to the garden. We then pointed the flagstone. The second project we removed all existing patio concrete and flagstone in order to re-pour concrete and re-lay flagstone. It was finished by re-building a section of the fence as well as a gate.

Brick & Stone Repointing

We began by grinding the mortar joints in order to then repoint the brick and stone. For the stone, we used a ribbon joint.

Farmhouse Exterior Stucco Removal & Repoint

Removed the stucco from the front façade of the farmhouse.We then removed the mortar joints from the stone hidden beneath in order to prep for new stone pointing.

The owners wanted a unique fireplace surround for their existing fireplace. Once we created the outline and shape, we attached stone veneer, which was then pointed, resulting in an original and one-of-kind look.
